The Vango Nevis 200 Tent offers a compact and lightweight shelter solution for short camping trips, providing comfort and protection without compromising on convenience. Designed with trekking simplicity in mind, this 2-man tent is packed with features to enhance your outdoor experience, making it an ideal companion for any adventure.

Design and Construction:

The Nevis 200 features a tunnel tent style, maximising the space-to-weight ratio. Made with Protex 70 Denier Polyester Flysheet, with a 3000mm Hydrostatic Head (HH), the tent offers exceptional waterproofing, durability, and reliability, ensuring you stay dry and comfortable in adverse weather conditions. Additionally, all flysheet and groundsheet seams are factory taped for a watertight seal, providing peace of mind during rainy spells.

Ventilation and Comfort:

Equipped with a breathable polyester inner, the tent allows condensation to pass through, promoting a comfortable sleeping environment. The part mesh inner door enhances ventilation while keeping bugs out, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Convenient O-shaped inner doors are easy to open with one hand, enhancing usability.

Tension and Stability:

The Nevis 200 incorporates Vango's TBSII Tension Band System, which ensures optimal performance in adverse conditions, especially in strong, changeable winds. When tensioned, the bands brace the pole at three points, reducing sideways movement and enhancing stability. The system can be adjusted to remove slack and stowed away in calm weather, offering versatility and peace of mind.

Additional Features:

  • Inner pockets are conveniently positioned to keep your tent tidy and provide quick access to essential items.
  • The fast pack tent bag features an oversized opening for easy packing, along with compression straps to control pack size, facilitating hassle-free transportation.
  • The tent has been fully wind and rain tested to standard EN ISO 5912, ensuring suitability for use in wet weather conditions during occasional and weekend camping trips. However, storms and extreme weather should be avoided for safety.
  • The fabrics used in the construction of the tent meet European EN5912 safety standard for fire retardancy, providing added protection and peace of mind.
